Hello, and welcome to my portfolio!

 

My name is Allyssa Campbell-Sawyer, and I am a senior journalism student at DePaul University. I love to express myself in writing, which I why I chose the journalism profession. My dream as a reporter is to write about the entertainment world -- music, television, film, and various different forms of art and popular culture. My passion for arts and entertainment, along with talent for storytelling, makes me a valuable writer for any publication.

 

I absolutely LOVE music. It has always been my biggest obsession, and I can't go a day without actively listening to music. I know way too much about music artists and their careers, and to express my enthusiasm for music, I host a show at Radio DePaul called "Survey of Popular Music." After adding a minor of radio, TV, and new media my sophomore year, I developed an interest in television and all other forms of media.
